(原文) + Very clean authentic Japanese accommodation with the great staff. Her home-made breakfast was fabulous (I was born in Japan and still come to Japan every year to visit my family and it was a great meal for me!) We stayed at the room that has a little garden view and a bathtub. Two beds and one sofa bed which I slept on and it was comfy.
- Location might be little far from the main Kyoto spots but still quiet and cute neighborhood :D
(原文) Tanoya is amazing. A real gem in Kyoto featuring traditional Japanese architecture, food and amazing hospitality. We stayed in a room with a "regular" bed but they also have traditional tatami rooms. Breakfast was included and definitely interesting, they serve rice, egg roll, picked vegetables, miso soup and pumpkin cubes among other items. The neighbourhood is incredibly quiet and you can find some traditional Kyoto houses nearby. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, they speak just enough English to make sure we are comfortable and taken care of.
(原文) Loved staying "off the beaten path" here in Kyoto. We felt like we got a true taste of life in Japan staying here, as it's hidden in a quiet residential area. The breakfast was amazing and the inn keepers were so kind and accommodating. Our room was well appointed with all the amenities you could need. Such a tranquil respite after we'd spent a week in Tokyo. My husband's only complaint was that the bed felt hard to him, but I slept perfectly fine. If you stay here, don't miss the e-bike tours of Kyoto at Noru down the road, too.
-場所は京都の主要なスポットから少し離れているかもしれませんが、それでも静かでかわいい近所です:D
