（原文） This low and gently-sloping pass is on the old "Tanshuu-kaidou" route from Kyoto to the northwest. A few metres north of the pass you can see a carving depicting "Batou-Kannon" (Haragriva), who guarded animals such as the horses that would have shared this route along with human traffic on foot.
｢猪名川町のTT コース｣と呼ばれるようになった峠道である。
道端には花束が点々と置いてあり、峠に入った瞬間から緊張感に包まれまくる。
交通量は少ないが、それ故バイク乗りはステップから火花を散らし、クルマはドリフトで攻めてくる。
驚くべきは地元のじいさん･ばあさんも、足回りを固め、フルバケシートとロールバーなどで"武装"した軽トラや、ハイグリップタイヤと皮つなぎでやる気満々のスクーターで過激な走りをしていることだ。
"そこそこ"走っていたらそれらのジモティー達に吹っ飛ばされるので、油断禁物だ。
また走るなら、所々に落ちている落ち葉や枝、石ころにも気を付けよう。
そして当然ながらTTコースの様にオフィシャルもいないので、事故ったら大変なことになります。
ガードレールが新しくなっていたり、潰れてそのままになっているのを見たら崖下を見てみよう。
グチャグチャになったバイクやクルマが、同じようにグチャグチャになっている乗り手と共に救出されることなく、放置されているのが見えるだろう。
