Great bar! It’s not exceptionally clean. It doesn’t have an extensive bar menu. There’s no food (except the excellent Chinese place next door that delivers), and sometimes it gets a bit too smoked out.
BUT, the owner is a great conversationalist as are his regulars. The drinks are cheap and the whole joint pretty much runs on the honor system. The decor and lighting are inviting and if there isn’t something behind the bar that you want, Don (owner, American expat) will run out and get it for you. It’s the “Cheers” bar in Japan!
