（原文） I spent six months in Kyoto July 2019 - Jan 2020 and made Studio Bindu my home attending several classes a week. The studio is very attractive and welcoming located in a traditional nineteenth century machiya (old Kyoto house). I worked regularly with three of the teachers and the instruction was very consistent. There was a broad age range in the classes and all the teachers were willing to make both corrections and modifications. When registration was low they were willing to run classes even with 1 or 2 students if you preregistered. I was thrilled to have found Mark and his crew and you will be too! As an added bonus the immediate neighborhood -- the block-- has wonderful businesses. Nama Chocolate Cafe three doors down is a paradise of a cafe , again in a serene machiya with a postcard perfect garden (see their listing !) And Tome restaurant serves an amazing traditional Japanese set lunch for 1100¥. All in all a very happy camper.
